About Sorcerer

We're Audrey and Mohammad, two 21-year-old builders who have been creating together for the past four years. Our journey started in the high-pressure world of hackathons, where we've won 27 competitions across institutions like UPenn, Princeton, and recent Y Combinator events.

Through all those late nights and tight deadlines, we learned something important: the best solutions come from understanding real problems that developers face every day. We've lived through the frustration of context switching, the pain of managing complex workflows, and the constant interruption of our creative flow by mundane tasks.

We've watched coding evolve rapidly toward natural language interfaces, and it's exciting. But we noticed a gap. While AI can help you write code, it struggles with the broader context of your development environment, your workflows, and the intricate dance between different tools in your stack.

That's why we're building Sorcerer. We want to extend natural language functionality beyond just code generation to orchestrate your entire development workflow. Instead of jumping between terminals, IDEs, and documentation, you should be able to express what you want to accomplish and let your tools work together seamlessly.

We've turned down some great opportunities including Y Combinator engineering roles, positions at Disney, and offers from Intuit because we believe deeply in this vision. We're not just building another developer tool; we're creating something that we ourselves desperately wanted during those countless hours of building.

Our community has been incredible throughout this journey. The developer networks we've built relationships with over the years have become our early adopters, our feedback loop, and our motivation. We're building Sorcerer for builders, by builders who understand what it takes to ship fast and ship well.

We already have a working MVP and are committed to getting this into your hands soon. This isn't just about productivity but about preserving that creative flow state that makes building software so rewarding.
